John Bauman is the founder and director of the Tokyo Training Group. With over 15 years in Japan, he is an experienced trainer with an in-depth understanding of corporate communication. He has an extensive background in business and education in Japan, China, and the USA, with a strong focus on cross-cultural business communications. His experience in individual and team development includes success in motivating, mentoring, coaching and facilitating a variety of training programs. John also has wide experience in the development of content for training programs across business and higher education contexts.
John is committed to helping people realize their potential through training. He brings together experience, enthusiasm and an understanding of learning styles to improve performance in a positive learning environment where people are encouraged to build on their strengths. At the same time, he understands the need to create value for the organization and for training to have a measurable business impact. He works closely with all clients in the planning, implementation, and follow-up stages to ensure satisfaction.
John has led recent TTG projects in the areas of performance management, presentation, writing, teambuilding, sales, and change management. TTG has also assisted in the implementation of an e-learning system for several clients.
