John Freeman

John Freeman is Tokyo Training Group's most experienced trainer, with nearly 35 years experience in Japan providing training in the fields of intercultural business communications and international management. Over the years he has delivered and managed training for numerous corporations and government agencies. John is bilingual and is able to provide training in either Japanese or English. He also has an extensive practical business background in Japan. His intuition, insights, and language ability provide a rare combination of features to TTG's training programs.

In the 1970s he worked for Japanese organizations in managerial positions, where he developed a Japanese sense about successfully doing business. His entrepreneurship enabled him to develop distribution channels for American products in the 1980s and 1990s. This experience of having been "out in the field" provides a practical base that supports and complements his business communication training skills. He brings an uncanny sense of how Japanese business works into training to accelerate the training process.

As with all TTG trainers, John is committed to helping people realize their potential through training. He brings together experience, enthusiasm and an understanding of learning styles to improve performance in a positive learning environment where people are encouraged to build on their strengths. At the same time, he understands the need to create value for the organization and for training to have a measurable business impact. He works closely with all clients in the planning, implementation, and follow-up stages to ensure satisfaction.

John has designed and led intensive seminars and regularly gives presentations on business communication strategies for corporations, government agencies and specialists in the field. He specializes in executive and managerial coaching, mentoring, problem solving, management, presentations, e-mail writing, sales, and other types business communication projects involving . . . people who manage people, . . . people who manage operations, . . . people who manage finance, . . . and people who manage information.
